- You may search by entering the Specificity, the Catalog Number, or the Clone Number.
- Once the search is completed, you will be given
the choice to look at "Monoclonal Antibodies" ,"Polyclonal
Antibodies", "Antigens" or "All".
Dos:
- Search on partial words. This eliminates the
possibility of spelling errors. Just type part of the word without
any "wild card" notations. If you get too many results
to review, then type in more of the word.
- Try searching with and without hyphens.
- If abbreviating the genus name prior to the
species name, such as E. coli or H. pylori, place a space between
the period and the species.
- Search for catalog number. Just type in the
full catalog number without any spaces.
- If you still get too many results, try finding the product in the "Alphabetical by Specificity Listing" in the "Products" area. Search by the first letter of the specificity.
Don'ts
- Do not search on the
plural version of a specificity.
- Do not use any form of
the word "antibody" or "antigen" or "monoclonal"
or "polyclonal". Since the majority of our products
are antibodies or antigens you may get no results or erroneous
results. Once the search is completed, you will be given the choice
to look at "Monoclonal Antibodies" ,"Polyclonal
Antibodies", "Antigens" or "All".
- Do not use "anti"
in your search criteria. Since the many of our products are antibodies
or antigens you may get no results or erroneous results. Once
the search is completed, you will be given the choice to look
at "Monoclonal Antibodies" ,"Polyclonal Antibodies",
"Antigens" or "All".
- Use specificity only, do not use the name
of the host or the species specificity (e.g.
Do not use Goat anti-HSV or Goat anti Mouse IgG).
